What is magento?
If you landed in this website you probably know what Magento is. But just to refresh your mind, Magento or MagentoCommerce is an Open Source ecommerce web application created by Varien, building on components of the Zend Framework. Magento is available under the Open Software License version 3.0. That means you dont have to pay anything for the software itself. We believe Magento is the new, fresh and reliable Ecommerce software that will be the mainstream in the years to come.
Do you provide tech support?
Sure we do. We are techies and we provide hosting services since 1999. We have "in house" programmers specialized in web applications and Magento specifically. We have the answers for your questions. We answer by phone, email, webforms.
Are you a "Kitchen Chair" provider?
Off course we are not! We are a real firm with offices in the USA (Portland, OR) and Europe (Milan, Italy). Our datacenters and servers are located in a protected facility in Virginia, USA. We provide 24/7 support.
Are you my daddy?
No we are not! You are responsible of the content of the website you host with us. We provide you a service, hosting, and you will run it by yourself. We will prepare your hosting and your first Magento installation for free. If you need any further consulance or programming activity you should consult one of our project managers: we have very competitive hour rate.
What are the hidden costs?
No hidden costs! You pay only the space and the bandhwidth you need, and we will give you for free the domain name and the Magento installation. Don't worry, we aren't trying to rip you off and we don't like reading small print either!
How do I know which size I need?
Keep this in mind: you can upgrade your hosting when you want. So do not buy a bunch of space you will never need. The Magento software does not use more than a few MB, add some space for your product's pictures (rule of thumb: add 50MB every 100 products) and some space for your email accounts. We think that a good start is something around 200MB. For the bandwidth: usually buy 20 times more than your space: so for the previous 200MB space, buy 4GB (4000MB) and you wont have any problem.
How can I make you rich?
Suggest our hosting to your friends: we are planning a huge discount campaign for clients that bring a friend. Buy our consulting services and code customisation. Make your business succesful so you will need more space and more bandwidth.
Why you and not GoDaddy?
